JY Home Repair and More
Effective Date: April 4, 2026


1. Services Provided

JY Home Repair and More provides residential repair, installation, and maintenance services. All work will be outlined in an estimate or invoice and agreed upon prior to the start of work.


2. Estimates & Pricing

  • All estimates are based on the information provided at the time of inspection or request
  • Final pricing may change if additional issues are discovered during the job
  • Any changes will be communicated and approved before proceeding


3. Service Fee / Minimum Charge

  • A service/visit fee may apply for diagnostics, small jobs, or consultations
  • This fee covers travel time, evaluation, and initial labor


4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We accept various forms of payment, including card, cash, and electronic transfer (e.g., Zelle)
  • Credit card payments may be subject to processing fees


5. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Appointment times are scheduled in good faith but may be subject to delays due to job conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling


6. Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer is responsible for providing clear access to the work area
  • Pets, children, and personal belongings should be secured or removed from the work zone
  • Utilities (water, electricity) must be available if required for the job


7. Materials

  • Materials may be provided by either the customer or JY Home Repair and More
  • We are not responsible for defects or failures in customer-supplied materials
  • Warranty does not apply to customer-provided items


8. Scope of Work Limitations

  • Work is limited to the agreed scope outlined in the estimate or invoice
  • Additional work requested during the project may result in added charges


9. Warranty

  • We provide a limited workmanship warranty on labor performed
  • Warranty does not cover:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Pre-existing conditions
  • Structural, plumbing, or electrical issues beyond visible scope
  • Materials supplied by the customer


10. Liability Limitations

  • JY Home Repair and More is not responsible for:
  • Hidden or unforeseen conditions (e.g., mold, water damage, structural issues)
  • Delays caused by material availability or external factors
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided


11. Permits & Code Compliance

  • Unless otherwise stated, permits and inspections are the responsibility of the homeowner
  • We perform work consistent with general handyman/home repair standards and applicable guidelines within our scope


12. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • Conditions are unsafe
  • The work falls outside our scope
  • There is inappropriate or disrespectful behavior


13. Photography & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of completed work for documentation and marketing purposes. No personal or identifying information will be shared without consent.


14. Agreement

By approving an estimate, scheduling service, or allowing work to begin, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
